Sam Amato was a conscientious thoughtful man who loved animals. He was a retired educator who served in various capacities with the Mercer, Summers and Raleigh County Boards of Education. Established by a testamentary gift from Sam’s estate, this fund will generate income to help local nonprofit animal shelters with the expense of spaying and neutering pets available for adoption in Wyoming County.
