Mine Power Systems and its subsidiary, Mine Battery Service, established this fund in 1992 to benefit the Salvation Army’s Christmas food fund. MPS has contributed a truckload of food to the charity every year since 1983. The late Dan Bickey and his wife, Cynthia, set up this endowment to provide annual income for the continuation of this project.
