The Concord University Foundation, Inc., at the suggestion of President Jerry Beasley, established this fund to honor a couple who have long supported BAF and our community. Distributions from the endowment will be used to assist a Concord University student, preferably from Raleigh County, who has shown evidence of academic promise and demonstrates financial need. Jim and Sallie, as well as the Walker Foundation, subsequently made generous donations to this fund.
