Local attorney William H. File Jr. established this fund in 2007 in memory of his wife Marjorie Wriston File, his parents Addie Lanier File and William Henry File, and his wife’s parents Doctor Robert and Minnie Davis Wriston. Marjorie, know by her friends and family as “Tag,” died in October 2006 following a lengthy illness. Mr. File directed that this fund be donor advised, allowing his four children to annually suggest charitable recipients of the generated income. Susan File Payne, William Henry File III, Robert Norman File, and John Lanier File will serve as donor advisors. Mr. File Jr. died in March, 2009.
