This volunteer fire department decided to establish this permanent endowment in 2003 using money obtained through their fund raising efforts. They also received a dollar-for-dollar match from the Dr. Thomas Walker Memorial Health Foundation. Annual distributions from this fund are used to make improvements in the equipment, water lines, and support apparatus necessary to maintain the Insurance Service Office Improvement Plan rating and service delivery of the Bradley-Prosperity Volunteer Fire Department.
