The Register-Herald management established this unrestricted fund to provide much needed income for supporting awards made through BAF’s annual community grant program. The Foundation addresses Raleigh County community’s most pressing needs and promising opportunities in the areas of Animal Services, Arts, Basic Needs, Civic beautification, Economic Development, Education, Health and Human Services, and Public Recreation. Established in December 1986, this is one of BAF’s earliest funds.
