Shamrock, shuffle, or sprint — just don’t miss it!

The Beckley Area Foundation in partnership with SLYP will host a St. Patrick’s Day 5K & Fun Run on Friday, March 7, at Woodrow Wilson High School.

The event will begin with registration at 8:00 a.m., followed by the Fun Run at 9:00 a.m. and the 5K race at 9:20 a.m. The entry fee is $25, and participants of all ages and fitness levels are encouraged to attend.

Organizers say the event is designed to bring the community together in a fun, family-friendly environment while promoting health, wellness, and local engagement. Runners, walkers, families, and community supporters are all welcome to participate.

The race will take place at Woodrow Wilson High School, located at 400 Stanaford Road in Beckley. Participants are encouraged to wear green and embrace the festive St. Patrick’s Day spirit.

Community members are invited to lace up their running shoes and join in the celebration on March 7 for a morning of fitness, fun, and community connection.
