Realizing that prosperity in Raleigh County is encouraged by collaborative efforts supporting all of southern WV, the BAF board of directors and staff offer our administrative support to people in surrounding counties who wish to build community endowments without the responsibilities of creating another foundation. A group of Wyoming County citizens used BAF’s ‘building over time’ policy to create this fund. As a geographic fund it will address opportunities and challenges presented to their county and annually recommend disbursements for approval to the BAF board of directors. Each year a portion of the income will be used to grant a scholarship to a Wyoming County senior.
