In 2004 a group of Webster County citizens realizing the value of creating permanent endowments for their community approached Beckley Area Foundation to establish funds benefiting their concerns and needs. Their motto is “Building a Foundation for Our Future.” This endowment at BAF supports programming which promotes active and healthy lifestyles among the citizens of Webster County. Grant recipients shall be recommended by the Webster County Fund Advisory Committee and approved by the Beckley Area Foundation Board of Directors.
