Wilda Marie Gill Todd created this permanent endowment as a memorial to her husband, their family and their strong work ethic. This fund will generate income for need and merit based scholarships for college qualified graduates of Shady Spring High School. Her husband, George Edward Todd, died in 1993 at the age of of 74 and Wilda in 2019 at age of 98. He had been a 20 year employee of Fairchild, Inc., where he worked in research and development. The Todd’s have one daughter, two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
