This unrestricted fund was initially started in 2000 by Margaret Johnson, Glenna Johnson, and Gil and Susan Johnson High Friends and other family members made additional memorial contributions. It honors a father and son who made numerous and varied contributions to our community. “Ping” founded and was president of WV Belt Sales in Raleigh County. This company served the WV, KY and VA coal industry. His son Alex was the owner and president of Minex Corporation. This unrestricted fund will generate needed income to respond to grant request submitted during the Foundation’s annual community grant program.
