Following his untimely death in 2002, friends of Kenneth Joe “Kenny” Weaver resolved to establish a BAF endowment in his honor. Kenny lived near Little Beaver State Park and frequently used its facilities. Income from this endowment will be used to maintain and improve the park. BAF’s ‘building a fund over time’ provision affords donors a five year time span to create a named fund. Generous memorial gifts and several unique fund raising events were held to secure funding for this permanent endowment.
