Floyd and Winifred Sayre Memorial Fund

Established by Robert Sayre and the Bank of Raleigh, now City National, provides need and merit based scholarships for graduating Woodrow Wilson High School seniors. Floyd and Winifred were parents of Truman, Floyd Jr., Robert and Graham Sayre and R. Frances Beasley, all WWHS graduates. Floyd Sayre practiced law in Beckley from 1922 until his death in 1971.
