This fund provides scholarships for nursing education and honors “Doc” Moore and his wife, a nurse he met in a World War I hospital. They practiced in Affinity, Killarney, Lillybrook and East Gulf areas. He served as President of the Board of Education and was a Director of Beckley National Bank.
