Following Delaney’s death on July 4, 2019, her parents decided to establish a permanently endowed scholarship in her name. Knowing that Delaney relished learning and had an innate zeal to nurture and aid others, her family created this scholarship to benefit nursing students from Raleigh and Summers counties.
