It was Diane Hopkins charitable intent to use her estate honoring her family and alma mater while assisting a student in continuing their education. Woodrow Wilson High School graduates attending either Marshall University or West Virginia University and who are enrolled in either an undergraduate or a graduate program, are eligible to apply for this scholarship. Ms. Hopkins was the daughter of the late Sterling “Hoppie” and Reva Lucas Hopkins and sister of Gary Hopkins. She was a licensed insurance agent with Allstate Insurance Company in Beckley, WV.
