The Susan Landis Youth Philanthropists Fund was established to provide funding for the SLYP program. Created in 2016, it honors BAF’s late Executive Director. Students ages 14-18 are tasked with learning about philanthropy, leadership and how a community foundation operates. Distributions from the fund benefit SLYP program activities and supplement their grantmaking to programs and local nonprofit organizations located in Raleigh County.
