Grace Lilly Smith was born near Hinton in 1881and taught in one room schools. “Doc” Peters was born in 1904 at Simons, WV. He was employed primarily in the coal industry during his working years. His wife, Eva P. Maness Peters was born in 1905 in Landgraff, WV.
