A client of the RCCA established this fund to both benefit his fellow Raleigh County senior citizens and to honor Jack Tanner, the executive director of the Raleigh County Commission on Aging. The programs of the RCCA include nutrition, transportation, exercise, in home care, medical monitoring, arts and crafts, computer skills and fellowship. They serve lunches at the center and deliver more meals to seniors’ homes. RCCA staff also assists seniors in discovering and processing applications for the programs of various governmental agencies. The donor invites others who value the work of the Senior Center and Jack’s leadership to contribute to the fund.
