The Citizens Scholarship Fund of Beckley, Inc. started a permanent endowment at BAF to provide an on-going income stream for a yearly scholarship award in Max Lewin’s name. Recipients must be Woodrow Wilson High School graduating seniors demonstrating financial need. Max Lewin was a Holocaust survivor who came to Beckley where he owned Harry’s Men Shop and the Home Modernization Company.
