Dr. and Mrs. L. Edward Eckley created a fund whose income shall be used to promote dental health, to encourage dental health education and to improve the oral hygiene of school-age children. Since its 2001 establishment fund income has been used to support the Raleigh County 2nd Grade Dental Exam program.
