Est. 2007 Recognizing the need for a permanent source of income to maintain the Beckley Art Group’s facility which was recently expanded and renovated, an anonymous donor offered a challenge grant of up to $5,000 to be used to match donations for a permanent BAG endowment. Hearing about this opportunity to double their gifts, other art group supporters quickly wrote checks to fulfill the challenge. Some donors took advantage of the Neighborhood Investment Program state tax credits offered through the Foundation. BAG makes regular contributions to this fund which is open to gifts in any amount from any donor.
