Members of the Trap Hill Alumni Association actively raised funds and sought donations to grow the BAF permanent endowments that provide scholarships for students graduating from Liberty High School which now serves students in the area once covered by Trap Hill. The Claude Walker family took advantage of the state tax credits provided by BAF through its participation in the Neighborhood Investment Program, and created the Claude W. Walker, Jr. Family scholarship Fund.
