David Ramella, co-owner of McDowell Supply Company established this fund to support several of his charitable interests. David was inducted into the Marshall University Athletic Hall of Fame in 2021 for his baseball accomplishments. Annual income from this fund supports three different areas: a need based scholarship for an applicant from McDowell, Wyoming, Raleigh or Fayette counties; a distribution to St. Francis De Sales Catholic School in Beckley; and a distribution to the Marshall University baseball program to provide baseballs for each of Marshall University’s home field conference games.
